Day 1: Arrival in Colombo – Transfer to Negombo

  • Meet & Greet at Bandaranaike International Airport.

  • Transfer to Negombo, a beach town known for seafood.

  • Evening: Enjoy a seafood dinner at a beachside restaurant.

  • Overnight Stay: Jetwing Blue, Negombo

Day 2: Negombo Fish Market & Transfer to Kandy

  • Early morning visit to Negombo Fish Market – learn about auctions & traditional drying.

  • Local breakfast: “Lunu Miris” with hoppers and coconut sambol.

  • En route to Kandy, visit Mawanella Spice Garden.

  • Participate in a live spice-based cooking demo & lunch.

  • Evening at leisure or stroll around Kandy Lake.

Day 3: Kandy Market Tour & Kandyan Cooking Class

  • Guided tour of Kandy Central Market with a chef.

  • Traditional cooking class at a local home (dishes: jackfruit curry, red rice, dhal curry, eggplant pickle).

  • Visit Temple of the Tooth Relic.

  • Evening: Kandyan cultural show with dance & drumming.

Day 4: Kandy to Dambulla – Village Culinary Experience

  • After breakfast, travel to Dambulla.

  • Authentic Village Tour: Bullock cart ride, canoe trip & local meal in countryside.

  • Check-in to resort near Sigiriya.

Day 5: Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Street Food in Habarana

  • Early climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

Day 6: Dambulla to Galle – Southern Coast Seafood & Cinnamon

  • Drive to Galle (approx. 5–6 hrs).

  • Visit a cinnamon plantation – learn about Ceylon cinnamon & its uses.

  • Dinner in Galle Fort with southern fusion cuisine.

  • Overnight Stay: The Heritage Hotel Galle Fort

Day 7: Galle Cooking Class & Leisure

  • Visit local Galle market for seafood & vegetables.

  • Join a southern cooking class in a villa/beach house. Learn:

    • Fish curry with coconut milk

    • Gotukola sambol

    • Lunu Dehi (lime pickle)

    • Curd with kithul treacle

  • Afternoon at leisure – explore Galle Fort, shop, or sunset cocktail.

Day 8: Galle to Airport – Departure
